After seeing your model skull, I'm interested in getting one for myself to better understand the cranial structure! Are you basically saying that even though orthodontic and dental extraction work messed up my TMJ and occlusion, my cranial bones are just collapsed, but not underdeveloped? Does that mean the space between the sutures can expand and contract?
How would you put the windshield back into its original position? You cannot just start moving individual pieces of glass. It wont work as its all tightly integrated into a system.
Rather best approach would be to kind of inflate the car with air from the inside and have that push the windshield back out.
Thank you Ken! Looking forward to connecting with you over zoom. Question- does one need to use this device forever? Or a period of time? I mean once the tissue is stretch and teeth are aligned, do you just stop using it? We can talk more about this over zoom but wanted to ask incase anyone else has the same question…warmly, Kristen
Ken my lower left molars are collapsed and it’s almost sloping down as it goes back to the 2nd molar, in contrast to the right which slopes up.
Is this a crown/composite job, I’m failing to understand how I can fix this without crowns/composite. Or incredibly concentrated jaw positioning which I don’t believe is healthy.
Yes I can wear a mouthguard but things just collapse when it’s out and not sure how that’s putting any curve back into the actual bite.

it might be underdeveloped a bit.. i never really deep dove on that in much details.
So am i saying Reviv will give you a skull like the Rock or Brad Pitt? Probably not.
But you can still, in my view, have a beautiful skull and profile. Almost model-level beautiful if u get to the end.
ANd yes cranial bones are collapsed and deranged.
And yes space between sutures can change. Its not just that it 'expands' in my view. Rather the actual bones were displaced a bit.
One visual way of describing that ive used in the past is the individual pieces of glass on a broken windshield https://www.nuvisionautoglass.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Windshield-crack-can-be-repairable.jpg
Imagine each piece of glass was a cranial bone.

very well said. The skull must expand, it is quite logical and obvious.

i cover this in this article a bit: https://reviv.substack.com/p/is-this-addressing-root-cause-or
An open posterior bite is created which u need to support with a rubber mouthguard or flat plane splint when u sleep.
Then if u dont want to wear any appliance one day u can ask a dentist to put flat composite on the last lower tooth of either side.
Ahhh ok! Ty so much!

no need to put composite till the end. The earlier u put it on the more often u will need to 'top it up' and that gets expensive.
Wear the mouthguard at night and as much as u can during the day.
Things dont just 'collapse' so quickly.
Also when i say putting curve back into the bite i dont mean its supported by the teeth yet. An open posterior bite will form.
What is an open posterior bite?
i discuss here https://reviv.substack.com/p/the-mystery-around-posterior-open
