Orthodontics will be the biggest medical scandal of our time
I predict that there will be $billions in lawsuits related to braces and aligners (eg. Invisalign) within the next couple of decades.
I predict that there will be a time for retribution.
When humanity has recognized the destructive effect of braces and aligners and begins to hold people and organizations accountable for it.
And i think it will get ugly. As it should.
Because this shit destroyed millions of people’s lives for decades.
And someone needs to pay for that.
Plus I think that some of the companies behind this stuff have probably had a decent idea that there are some pretty nasty side effects that a high proportion of patients have been complaining about.
But that they have been sweeping under the rug.
When this day finally comes… it will be like my wet dream :)
Braces and Invisalign have exploded around the world
Right now, ChatGPT estimates about 50 - 60% of American teens have had some type of orthodontic treatment. Just have a look below.
And I think that that's insane! We're literally chopping away at the foundation of our future.
And it's spreading globally like wildfire.
Invisalign and other companies are aggressively marketing their products in countries that barely had orthodontics a decade ago.
I go to smaller cities here in Thailand and I’m blown away by how many young people are wearing braces and aligners these days.
And when I see this… i start to imagine these people with neurological and other severe health issues later. Issues that their parents and other previous generations never had to face. And so there will be massive confusion as to what and why is this happening.
It’s going to be a bloodbath.
The predicted growth is even much bigger
Just have a look at this chart above of the US clear aligners market. It was $1.9bn in 2022 and is growing at a 30.5% annual growth rate.
At that rate you are going to more than 3x within 5 years.
Meaning you will also 3x the number of people that will suffer from issues from this stuff.
If you think we have a healthcare crisis in the US right now..just wait till this shit pans out. It’s going to be mindnumbing how unhealthy Americans are.
And the companies behind this are creating a global epidemic while counting their profits.
What is the link of orthodontics to disease?
I’ve talked about this in numerous other articles but i’ll give you the quick recap here.
Orthodontics will typically flatten the curve of spee (the red line in the pic above).
And this creates a biomechanical domino effect in which:
the soft tissue of your skull ‘deflates’ thereby deranging the cranial bones
this crushes the brain having cognitive and neurological effects (including causing neurological disease)
the impact on the jaw and neck ends up mangling the spine, which in turn displaces & compresses lots of organs.
this triggers lots of diseases as knock-on effects (eg. cancer, heart attacks, etc.)

Why does the curve of spee get flattened by orthodontics? Well there are a variety of reasons:
sometimes aligners & braces purposefully flatten it by moving the teeth
by moving the teeth to an artificial occlusion, if you don’t wear a retainer the teeth will often migrate and get worn down faster. Thus creating a flatter curve of spee.
and i believe creating an artificial, wrong occlusion directly impacts the soft tissue that i talk about. Which deflates the skull.
Within a decade I predict humanity will conclude that orthodontics is destructive
The truth about these biomechanics is going to come out.
People will understand how braces and aligners fundamentally damage the structure of the skull and spine. We'll have clear evidence linking orthodontics to the explosion of neurological diseases we're seeing.
The groundwork has already been laid by folks like John and Mike Mew, who've been fighting against traditional braces for years.
But I'm going to help accelerate it. And unlike the Mews, I'm not a dentist - they can't threaten my license or silence me through dental boards.
I've structured my business model specifically to be hard to attack. I'm like a guerrilla fighter in this information war - I will not be presenting an easy target.
I don’t live in America. I don’t work for an employer. And I anyway do everything via a foreign LLC that I can shut down if they ever really want to come after me.
This stuff’s gonna get bloody one day. You’ll see.
As this information spreads, people will realize what happened to them
Parents are going to start connecting the dots between their kids' orthodontic treatment and their subsequent health issues.
People who had braces a decade ago will realize why their faces and bodies look worse. And why some of them are dealing with neurological symptoms now.
When this awareness hits social media, it's going to explode.
You'll have millions of people sharing their stories, comparing notes, and realizing they were all victims of the same destructive practice.
There will be an explosion of lawsuits
The courts are going to be flooded with cases.
It won't just be individual orthodontists getting sued - it'll be the entire orthodontic industry. Companies like Invisalign and Lightforce are going to face massive class action lawsuits.
I even predict some of these company executives will face criminal charges. Because I bet some of them are sitting on some internal data showing some of the damage their products cause. They just buried it to protect themselves.
Think about tobacco companies in the 90s - except this time it's about directly damaging people's brains and nervous systems. The liability is going to be astronomical.
Orthodontics will go down as one of man's deadliest inventions of all time
Future generations will look back at orthodontics the way we look at lobotomies today - as a barbaric practice that damaged millions of lives.
The death toll from diseases triggered by orthodontic treatment will probably be staggering once we can properly trace it.
We're talking about potentially millions of cases of neurological disease, premature aging, and shortened lifespans - all because we thought straighter teeth looked better in photos.
Closing thoughts
This reckoning is coming in the next couple decades. And I'm not just going to watch it happen - I want to help throw some kerosene on the fire.
But I'm also not going to be stupid about it.
There are a lot of people and companies that have a lot to lose when this stuff comes to light in a major way. And they're going to fight dirty.
They'll try to discredit anyone who threatens their business model.
Right now i’m still small and they’ll ignore me. Call me a fool.
But with time.. they’ll realize I don’t think like a dentist… but rather more like a strategist who understands a thing or two about the business world from having played on that side of the fence for two decades.
And one who understands the power of getting a snowball rolling.
So that eventually they’re not fighting just me.. but rather they’re fighting lots of pissed off people who realize they’ve been lied to.
A war has begun. They just don’t know it yet.
They might have to wait behind the pharmaceutical companies and a great many lazy, careless or crooked medical and psychiatric specialists, but I agree with you, EGK, that their time will come. Their curve of $pee is gonna get flattened big time...
AMEN. I had extractions as a child which ruined my face. Then I was assured they had it all figured out and the solution was to give my child expansion at a young age - it ruined her face way worse, recessed her jaw and rotated it downward and she’s only 8! No ortho we see knows how to fix this at all.
This whole thing has ruined our faces and lives and sadly this is a multigenerational trauma at this point. Will have to wait for my grandkids to not make the same mistake.
