Youโ€™re right. Chiropractors, massage therapists, osteopaths, yoga experts are useless the bite is addressed. The physics totally works like this. When thereโ€™s lack of posterior vertical dimension, the entire jaw moves up and back, as a compensation head moves forward. And itโ€™s impossible to correct it unless the bite is corrected.

i agree and disagree.

you need to address the bite but its not about 'lack of posterior vertical dimension' in my view. Which is why i never describe it that way.

In my view its about curve of spee and stretching soft tissue.

In 2022 i wore a splint on front teeth like nti-tss splint and progressed at the same pace. Because i was still upholding my 2 rules:

1- add vertical

2- no locking occlusion

Also.. almost everyone wearing a Reviv now actually has primary contact on the front teeth and not the back.

For many of them back teeth are probably not even making contact with the appliance and yet they're improving. Because its about vertical.

Yet another banger! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฏ It's basic physics!

So much money spent on chiropractics and physical therapy over the years to no avail.

Also I'm hoping to get the tracking splint stuff this weekend, you said that light stretching and massaging pressure points can help restore the curve of spee faster right?

yes, it should. Also exercise in general will help expedite.
