All about our 'support' product
Our 'support' consists of our community, journal tracking and DM messaging
Youtube
A lot of folks ask me what the support is for.
And so I figured i’d jot down some thoughts on this in this post.
Why do we offer support?
How much is it?
Is it really needed?
etc.
First, what is our support?
Our support consists of three different things:
1st: Community access
this gives you access to our 1100+ strong community where you’ll see lots of posts by folks doing the process.
You’ll see their progress, their challenges, etc. In a given day I’d estimate there are at least 10-20 new posts and comments on at least 50+ posts.
It’s a great way to meet others doing the process and it adds a level of transparency that I don’t think any single dentist out there can match
2nd: Journal tracking
We provide you a journal template and encourage you to update it at least a couple times a week with anything you are feeling, any questions you have, etc.
Lots of folks also put down their issues their trying to solve for, images they want to share, etc.
I check these at least once a week and put comments based on my experience. In a way I view myself as a bit of guide through this journey and so you have a guide that is 11 years in this game and has seen most things before.
It also makes for a great resource for you as times goes on as you will see what you went through and how you progressed. I journaled for most of the last 10+ years and so doing this is based on my own personal experience that it is highly valuable.
3rd: Personalized support via DM’s
I respond to direct messages on Skool that folks send to me. It can be questions, concerns, etc.
I would estimate I get 50+ of these DM’s per day and I am usually quite good at always responding within 12 hours or so.
How much is our support?
Our support can be purchased in the following increments on our site:
$10 per month
$24 per 3 months ($8/month)
$75 per 12 months ($6.25/month)
Many folks will have bought our annual plan together with the R1 for $100. Which can be purchased using this link.
Alternatively you can purchase one of the other plans using this link. And note that our monthly and quarterly options were only launched recently.
Lately we see a lot of folks that just purchase the appliance alone to start as we give a 1 month free trial of our community. And then they upgrade to a support plan later.
Or some prefer to just manage without the support.
This journey ends up being harder and longer than most people think
Folks often think at the outset… “It’s just a mouthguard… how hard can it be?”
But if you have significant health issues when starting I think you will learn that this process can be very hard. And quite long.
Why is it hard?
Well you are remodeling your entire skull and body over time. Not just the skeleton but all of the organs as well in my experience.
It is unlike anything I have experienced before. Random things change.
Over the course of the journey there is a good chance you will experience: headaches, your skin/scalp ripping, lines appearing in various parts of your body, diarrhea, dizzinesss, painful releases of spasmed muscles throughout the body, changes in hearing, changes in vision, and more.
It is pretty wild how the body unwinds. And it continues for a pretty long time. Like years.
Does that mean you make very little progress early on? Not at all. You will progress a lot faster than you had doing most other types of treatments.
But each time you get better, you will set the bar higher. And higher.
And that is pretty cool. But it is also pretty long.
This journey is a lot easier to do as a group
The primary advantage of taking advantage of the support is in my view the fact that you are now doing this process in a community.
You’re learning from others’ experience, their doubts, etc.
You’re learning from people that might be more advanced than you or be in a similar situation as you.
You’re helping each other. You’re creating confidence where there would normally have been doubt because you see lots of others saying the same things.
And sure you are more than welcome to form your own communities. But managing a community well takes time and effort.
It takes leading by example and investing time into making sure people are getting the inputs they want.
It takes also takes defending the right culture so that people feel open to share in a positive and safe environment.
Can you do this process without support?
I did this process without anyone’s support so I would be a hippocrate if I said that you cannot do this on your own. But it is harder.
I circled back many times because I took the wrong calls when I was confused.
And now I have the benefit via the journals and community of having access to quite a bit of data. Which helps me spot the patterns and when something looks off.
So I view my job as being your partner to keep you on course. And to get you through humps where you will second guess the process, which is a very common and natural part of this journey.
I wrote about this here.
Closing thoughts
To do this journey completely on your own takes a certain mindset. A determination and strength that is probably evident in other areas of your life.
I had it. And i’m sure some of you do too.
But the honest reality of the situation that i have seen countless times in the past… is that a lot of you do not. And the support will come in very handy.
I’m not saying this because i’m just trying to sell you something. I’m saying this because I wanna see you make it. To achieve your health and other goals.
Because the more people that ‘make it’… the faster we change this world and rip up some of the fallacies that are destroying it.

I joined the Skool support community mainly to get new ideas (and share my knowledge from my 30-year journey of recovering from orthodontics and dental extractions). e.g. I learned about TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) because of a Skool post. I found a TRE practitioner near me and will start my first session this week!
