The youtube version:
Now onto the article.
I was chatting with a friend a year or so back that said he’d been diagnosed with ADHD relatively recently.
He was already in his late 30’s but he went on to explain that more and more adults were being diagnosed with this disorder despite not having been diagnosed as kids.
In some cases they may have apparently missed diagnosing them when they were kids, but in other cases it seems that adults can get ADHD later in life.
But what I found perplexing is that I knew this guy for awhile. He was a smart guy, ran a small business, and seemed pretty normal to me.
Except I guess he had a hard time focusing sometimes. And he told me a bit about that.
But as I listened to his stories i was thinking… “What? That shit is nothing? I’ve been shitloads worse than you at various points in the past 10 years.”
And from that point on.. i concluded that what this biomechanical stuff can do to your cognitive function essentially IS ADHD. They are one and the same.
And today i’ll explain more.
What is ADHD?
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is what they call it when you can't focus at all and your mind bounces around like a ping pong ball.
At least that's what it sounded like from how my friend described.
You have difficulty with details, instructions, managing your time and a host of other things that directly impact your ability to work.
The medical establishment likes to say it's a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by problems with focus, hyperactivity and impulsivity. They'll tell you it's genetic or caused by environmental factors.
But I think that's complete bullshit. And I'll tell you why.
ADHD is taking off in places like the US
Look at the numbers above - ADHD diagnoses have skyrocketed in the past couple decades. In the US, ADHD diagnoses increased by 42% between 2003-2011 alone. And it keeps going up.
The medical establishment scratches their heads and says "must be better diagnosis" or "must be genetics." But think about this logically for a second...
If it was genetic, how the hell did these genes suddenly activate in the past 30-40 years? Were they just chilling dormant for hundreds of generations before that?
Makes zero sense.
And if you look at countries like Japan or Russia 20-30 years ago, they had way lower rates of ADHD. Only now as they're adopting western dental practices are their ADHD rates starting to climb.
I view the root cause to be these biomechanics
Here's what's actually happening - when your skull "deflates" as I talk about in my balloon theory, it literally crushes your brain. Your cranial bones derange and your entire spine twists.
You think having your skull crushed might affect your ability to focus? Of course it does!
I've experienced this myself numerous times in the past decade. I remember in 2014 when I was around my worst after a dentist had flattened the cusps of my molars… I could not focus for more than 5 minutes.
I’d sit down to try to concentrate on a spreadsheet or a doc I was working on and within a few minutes I would get distracted. I’d jump to a different window on my computer and start browsing something else, or I’d get up to have some coffee or something.
And despite my best efforts to focus…. I just didn’t seem to be able to push much further than 5 minutes or so.
My attention at that point was far far worse than what my friend who had been officially diagnosed with ADHD described.
And I returned to levels that were only slightly better than this numerous times in the ensuing years as I was figuring this stuff out. Particularly in mid-2020 after I had decided not to wear any appliance for 9+ months and was back to a ~5 minute attention span.
But now in 2024 I work like a machine from 8am to past 10pm daily and my focus feels sharper than when I was in my 20’s. I easily focus 1-2 hours at a time without even looking up from my computer.
By conquering these biomechanics I think we will eradicate ADHD
The medical establishment wants to give you Adderall and other stimulants. But that's like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound.
You need to fix the root cause. And I believe that is the crushing of the skull.
It makes a lot more logical sense to me than calling it genetics or whatever else they say is causing it.
So yeah, call me crazy. But in 50 years when these biomechanics are well understood and being applied to the masses, I strongly believe ADHD will be largely eradicated.
Quote me. Please.
