Kanye's titanium teeth... is he going nuts or is he getting better?

I'm not totally sure.... but he might actually be getting more sane! hahaha

Someone sent a few things about Kanye a month or two back and mentioned that he might be an interesting topic to write about.

Because he’d had titanium dentures put in his mouth in early 2024 that kind of resembled the character Jaws from James Bond (above).

The immediate assumption was… ok Ye must be going nuts. The dentists screwed up his occlusion and his skull is coming in onto his brain.

But after I did my digging… i’m actually not so sure.

He may actually be getting healthier… hahahaha

Kanye’s been acting strange for awhile now

Kanye West, now known professionally as Ye, has long been a figure of controversy and innovation in the music and fashion industries.

Over the past few years, his behavior has become increasingly erratic and unpredictable, raising eyebrows among fans and critics alike.

From his abrupt presidential campaign announcement in 2020 to his controversial social media outbursts, Kanye has demonstrated a pattern of unusual behavior that seems to have accelerated in the past decade.

His fashion choices have also grown more extreme, with face-covering masks becoming a signature look during public appearances.

His musical direction has shifted dramatically as well, moving from mainstream hip-hop to experimental gospel with his Sunday Service choir. The release of "Donda" in 2021 came after multiple delayed release dates and stadium listening parties where he lived in a small room inside the venue while completing the album.

Plus he’s revealed some pretty wild things like the fact that he had a sexual relationship with his male cousin till he was 14 years old.

This stuff has led many to wonder about the state of his mental health and what might be driving these changes.

Could it be dental work?

So Kanye has been messing with his teeth for awhile now.

In 2010, he made headlines when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show sporting what he claimed was a permanent diamond and gold replacement for his bottom row of teeth.

When Ellen asked if they were just placed on top of his natural teeth, Kanye replied, "No, it's like, replaced my bottom row of teeth."

More likely Kanye had his teeth trimmed down and were used as support for a gold and diamond-encrusted bridge, rather than having them completely removed and replaced.

But this would have messed up the natural bite that had kept his skull healthy… and so I wouldn’t be surprised if things started to decline a bit after this.

Note that Kanye was later hospitalized in 2016 for what was called temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and stress.

And in 2018, he said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which he's spoken about openly (and inconsistently) since then.

I have a feeling he was in a steady decline, both physically and neurologically, ever since the dental work of 2010.

The titanium teeth

Fast forward to January 2024, and Kanye unveiled his latest dental transformation – a complete set of titanium teeth that reportedly cost a staggering $850,000.

According to reports, the procedure was carried out by Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, who described the work as "fixed prosthodontics."

Contrary to initial reports suggesting that Kanye had all his teeth removed, his representative clarified that these are "permanent titanium teeth" that were fixed over his natural teeth.

So now the question is… are these new titanium teeth making him worse or could they be even making him better?

And this is where I was a bit surprised at what I found.

The model that is shown online for what Ye did to his teeth is almost like metal dentures. They say that it looks like this pic below.

So if it really is like this then it is pretty much completely flat contact. And there doesn’t seem to be a locking occlusion.

Which would essentially mean that it adheres to my two rules:

• Adds vertical (a bit as it sits on top of the teeth)

• Unlocks the occlusion (as there is no fixed position)

Meaning.. he should actually be getting healthier!

When I saw this I was in a scramble to find videos of Kanye talking recently so that I could try to gauge his neurology. And there isn’t much, but I found this.

His neurology actually seems pretty solid here. And his complexion looks like it could be an improvement from a couple years before.

This crazy ass mofo might actually be getting healthier!

So why is he saying all this crazy shit?

Well.. here is where I think you need to look at the timeline a bit deeper.

His biggest outburst involving Hitler was made during an interview with Alex Jones on December 1, 2022.

And then there was this highly controversial anti-semitic tweet he made above in October 2022.

But this is all before he had the titanium teeth put on.

And from about mid-2024 he seems to be chilling out and almost ‘normalizing’ a bit. As ChatGPT even agrees with as you see below.

So perhaps we’re gonna see a more and more normal Ye joining this world? LOL

Closing thoughts

What I find funny about this story is how Kanye may have actually saved his own health and life by being bat shit crazy.

He was probably in rapid decline from the dental work that was done in 2010 and any ‘traditional’ dental work would have almost certainly made him worse. Because it would have been built on the assumption that you should create a single locking occlusion, which in my view brings the skull caving in on the brain.

Instead, however, he seems to have gone with these flat dentures that no normal dentist in his right mind would ever recommend. And it will potentially be reversing the damage that was done.

Imagine if Ye now ages better than all of his Hollywood peers because of this. And ends up being the last one laughing.
