He was also a strict carnivore.. beef/salt/butter and eggs… he talked about it often. He was asked if he would ever add something like ketchup. He replied… never

He also was heavily covid vaxxed/boosted , to which he was regretful .

that strict meat thing will kill ya!

Well it hasn't killed me over the last 10 years! I had no choice due to a rarely-acknowledged type of diabetes. I can't and wouldn't eat ketchup anyway because it is full of sugar. It's junk. But my homemade olive oil mayonnaise is a far better and healthier condiment than ketchup. Gary Taubes has a lot of information about the carnivore diet, if you're interested. I think EGK has nailed it with Jordan Peterson: dental work, altering his bite and the curve of Spee.

Lynda, no one asked you. Post it on your own channel.

Ah; you're a vegan, aren't you Sharon?

SHARON's avatar

Pardon? Now you really sound like a lunatic.

No I am not

Well you're acting like one!

Very astute observation! You're like a detective with these things. It's been so sad to watch his decline

Kicked out of the CIA for being too good at playing the game! 🧐🔍🤔💡

I guessed this immediately after I saw his daughter’s social media post saying her dad was really sick, and forwarded it to you Ken - that was a couple of months ago now. I’d guess that it was his daughter who pressured him into it as I see she’s had some facial reconstruction/changes done since she remarried and they all moved to thé US

oh interesting.. yes i'd forgotten who had given me the idea to cover him...

thanks for that extra context

Thoughtful piece, thanks for asking hard questions without piling on. I’d just suggest we keep the health angle bracketed; armchair diagnoses (dental, biomechanical, etc.) aren’t our lane and risk distracting from the real issue, which js Peterson’s anthropology. The deeper critique, in my view, isn’t about his jawline but his Pelagian tendency (an over-reliance on self-crafting and moral exertion (“aim higher,” “clean your room,” heroic will)) with too little room for grace, conversion, and the givenness of being. Peterson is often a powerful preparatio. he names chaos, exhorts responsibility, and reenchants the moral imagination. But if the story ends with technique and will, it slides toward voluntarism if a salvation by effort, not by grace.

Questions I’m exploring in my current work (without presuming final answers): (1) Does Peterson’s call to responsibility function as a bridge to grace, or a substitute for it? (2) Where, in his system, is the transition from mythic/psychological insight to religious conversion (not just reorientation of habits, but a transformation of the subject)? How would a Lonerganian sequence to be attentive, intelligent, reasonable, responsible, reframe Peterson’s ethic so that value is received before it is achieved?

I’ve been writing on this “Peterson-as-preparatio vs. Peterson-as-Pelagian” tension through Lonergan’s method. If that angle interests you, I’m sharing notes and drafts in my ongoing project Mediated by Meaning. In any case, let’s keep the focus on arguments, not appearances, on what his message asks of the human person, and whether it finally leaves space for grace.

i'm honestly not that deep into Peterson and i think your angle is interesting but prob off topic for this substack

Has anyone used Reviv as an adult and managed to increase their height by 5 cm?

EGK's avatar

once person did say that by fixing her postural issue she grew about 2inches (~5cm)

Do you have anymore information on this?

This was a speculative, gossipy, and disrespectful post about an incredible man who has made a tremendous difference in the world. Why write an article about speculation?

He is one of the most intelligent minds of our time.

Jordan has struggled with severe autoimmune disease for many years, and it was recently re-activated by mold exposure. He has managed his condition by eating a carnivore diet, but that is not even helping now. The reason he eats only strip loin steak is that it is THE ONLY THING his body can eat without having a reaction.

understand your point of view.

And i guess lots of folks i've written about will have fans that will say the same.

But let's just say i am very confident i will end up being right.

I've observed these patterns in the people around me for about a decade, i get feedback from many hundreds of people fixing their health with these biomechanics, and i generally see that it works on everyone.

And that the body has some basic physics by which it collapses. Which i am pretty sure will end up being found out to be the root cause of almost all disease.

So yes u can call me speculative, gossipy, disrespectful, etc...

But one day you will be calling me "right"
