Headaches are part of the process
Headaches are a sign that your skull is expanding and the brain is decompressing. You will feel clearer and clearer with time.
So when folks start they often get headaches. Maybe not right away but often within a couple weeks when they are wearing the appliance (eg. Reviv One) every night to sleep.
These headaches can be very powerful. The type that do not go away with aspirin.
About 1.5 years ago I once had a headache that literally lasted 72 hours straight. It did not stop even when i went to sleep. During the day I could not function other than to zone out watching some Netflix.
But the headaches are a very GOOD thing. That may sound strange, but I am absolutely certain that is the case. And I will explain why in this article.
Why do the headaches occur?
So if you think about what I wrote in this article about the ‘balloon theory’, I am essentially saying that we are inflating the skull.
And by ‘inflate’ I also mean the skull literally gets much wider.
What sits inside the skull? Well your brain of course. So as the skull gets wider the compression on the brain reduces.
But why does that trigger a headache?
Well, I can tell you my theory. Which is that it is a bit like if you were sitting in a box for years. When all of a sudden you get out, are you not going to be a bit sore?
Yes, clearly you are. And in my view your brain is the one that has been sitting in this cramped box (the skull) and now been given more space.
And the headaches are basically your brain’s reaction to now having this extra space.
You get clearer after each headache
Now if you read the above explanation with no context you’d probably be thinking “nice wishful thinking Ken… but reality is probably that the headache is bad for you.”
And so it is important to add more context. For example everytime I have improved over the years I would get these headaches.
And following these headaches I often get clearer and clearer.
I’ve had these headaches for the last 2-3 years and i’d say my cognitive function is at least 50% better and my mood has completely transformed from being a bit down in 2020 to pretty much being happy all of the time now.
So when you experience that type of transformation after literally hundreds of these headaches, you can be pretty sure that the headaches relate to moving in the right direction.
Also there was a lady in my test group that had brainfog. Her experience when she started wearing an appliance I recommended was that she had migraines like 5-6x per week for months.
At the beginning she was very nervous and would ask me about it a lot.
But guess what? After a few months her brain fog was gone. As i’d predicted it would be.
I’ve been able to trigger headaches pretty much on demand for over a year
The other point i would like to make is cause & effect. It is not that these headaches happen randomly for me.
Rather I do a set of jaw stretches that triggers them. Often if I do about 1-2 hours of my special stretches, which is a far faster way of doing this stuff then just wearing an appliance, I can trigger at least a mild headache pretty much every time.
It is because of these headaches that I need to take a break from the stretches because I then need to let the skull and body release. Which i often do by taking a short nap for 30-60 minutes.
During that time the skull literally gets wider. I know because the skin on my face and my scalp typically rips as a result and it is itchy and a bit disgusing.
I am ripping through my face and scalp for almost two years now. And the whole time my skull is inflating and getting wider. People that haven’t seen me in a few years literally tell me.. “Ken.. wow your head got bigger!” lol
Also my body also stretches when I take these naps.
I know because I often have various stretch marks on my arms, back or legs. And I can tell by the trail of the line that it is not simply from how I was sleeping on my bed.
Wrapping up
Headaches kind of become your best friend in this process. They are your indicator that your head is getting clearer and you are improving.
Eventually they do slow down and when you’re done they are gone forever.
But for me they will remain like that good ole’ friend…. who was there with you on that difficult, life-changing journey.
Hmm, my biggest issue is headaches so not sure I want to sign up for more.
"Also my body also stretches when I take these naps"
Sorry, but dose this mean you've grown taller?
I so, how much?
Thanks in advance for the Reply.
