Addressing Lordosis, Kyphosis, & Scoliosis
Does the Reviv approach address these issues? Is it as effective as other approaches? etc.

Now onto the article…
A number of folks have pinged me recently and asked me whether the Reviv One works for spinal issues like kyphosis, lordosis and scoliosis.
Many of them have tried things like Starecta and did not get the results they were hoping for.
And so let me make it clear that the Reviv One does address these issues.
And that there is only a single biomechanical mechanism that creates all of these problems.
It is not like you use different appliances to address different things.
When you start to recover and see how this process works, you start to understand how all of this shit is just different faces of the same exact problem. And that the solution to all of them is the same.
First, let’s define the different types of spinal issues you can have
Lordosis is characterized by an excessive inward curve of the spine in the cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) regions.
This condition accentuates the natural forward curvature, causing the abdomen and buttocks to protrude more than usual.
It can lead to discomfort, pain, and issues with movement.
Kyphosis is defined by an exaggerated outward curve of the thoracic spine (upper back), resulting in a rounded or hunched back appearance.
This condition can arise from developmental issues, degenerative diseases like arthritis, osteoporosis, or trauma.
Severe kyphosis can cause pain, stiffness, and, in extreme cases, affect lung function due to the chest cavity being compressed.
Scoliosis involves a lateral (sideways) curvature and rotation of the spine, often forming an “S” or “C” shape.
It is most commonly diagnosed in children and teenagers, particularly during growth spurts.
The severity can range from mild to severe, and in some cases, scoliosis can lead to back pain and respiratory issues.
Some context on me and spinal issues
So I have zero clue what the doctors and spinal specialists say about this because I think they are completely wrong. So I don’t even bother researching any of that garbage.
I have screwed up and then fixed my back many times. When I screwed it up I gave myself relatively mild versions of scoliosis and lordosis.
Also i’d noticed that my height would shrink by like 1-2 inches.
Each time i’d recover the back would straighten and i’d get taller. Also my lats would get wider and i’d be able to hold my posture much better.
These for me are all secondary elements of this whole process because I care more about function. Cognitive function (attention span, how deeply i can think) and neurological function (mood, energy, etc) are the things that I most care about.
Why do I think these spinal issues develop?
So I am very sure that these spinal issues are just more effects of the soft tissue ‘deflating’ as I have talked before.
It is not just that your skull ‘deflates’ as you get worse.. but rather the whole entire body does.
I like to think of my body as being wrapped in an inflatable wetsuit. Then as you take air out of the wetsuit, the skeleton gets crushed and deformed as there is less space for it.
Bones twist and bend. Joints get messed up.
This is the root cause of all your hip and knee surgeries out there. As these are some of the most vulnerable areas.
So your spine deforms but also every limb in your body deforms with it.
How do you solve it?
The solution is the same as the one i’ve laid out earlier. I detail the mechanics in this post.
By wearing something like a Reviv One you allow the skull and the body to inflate. Picture the wetsuit that earlier crushed your body now inflating.
Body parts are allowed to return back to their correct position and start to function better.
Back issues like lordosis, kyphosis and scoliosis begin to correct on their own.
You move better and more fluid.
This morning was a great example
My wife asked me to play padel with her and her friends as they wanted to do doubles. I grudgingly agreed.
I was almost a decade older than all of them. They did exercise on a pretty much daily basis. They also played padel far frequently than i did and two of them have been taking lessons for awhile now.
But when we played… i decimated them.
It felt like playing against kids. I just couldn’t hit a shot wrong. Everything was solid.
Sure, i had some sound mechanics from playing a bit of tennis as a kid but that was decades ago. And I remember getting on a tennis court in 2020 with a friend and playing horribly.
It was as if I couldn’t hit a ball correctly to save my life in 2020.
Now it feels like I just can’t miss. And this was just the 3rd time i played padel plus i do pretty much zero exercise for over four years.
Why was i able to do this? Because my body is just naturally getting stronger, more flexible and more fluid as i do this process and get closer to the end.
How is Reviv One different from methods like Starecta which are more focused on spinal issues?
There are some folks that have asked me how Reviv differs from Starecta and whether Reviv is as effective as Starecta on the spine.
So i’d like to lay out my official position on this:
Both Starecta and Reviv agree on adding vertical
I do not agree with indexing a bite the way that Starecta does. I think this will halt progress and even make you worse at some point. And i say this as someone that used Starecta on and off for years from about 2014 - 2018.
So i do not think Starecta is better at fixing spinal issues than Reviv. I think it is worse. But I am still going to always be grateful to the guys at Starecta for helping me when I was up shit’s creek in 2014 and started my journey with Starecta.
So that’s it.
If any questions feel free to ask in the comments. I answer everyone.
Hi Ken, could you address the issue of how when using the appliance and biomechanical approach it can get worse first before it gets better. I mean headaches, muscle spasms etc.
